Although the narrative of forced confessions broadcast on television from the Islamic Republic of Iran is not a new narrative, it has many hidden layers; From the close cooperation of anchors and news reporters with interrogators and security officials to direct participation in the recording and broadcasting of forced confessions. But what is common in all these layers; Cooperation is in violation of basic and fundamental rights of people and prisoners. Maziar Ebrahimi is one of these people who became a victim of the security institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran and their cooperation with radio and television in recording and broadcasting forced confessions. In 2011, the Ministry of Information of the Islamic Republic of Iran arrested him on the charge of assassinating nuclear scientists in Iran and forced him to make a televised confession through five months of continuous torture during a close cooperation with the Radio and Television. Confessions, the film of which was aired some time later in a documentary called "Assassination Club" by the first nationwide network of government television in Iran. After enduring more than two years of physical and psychological pressure and harassment in prison, he was released from prison after proving his innocence in 1393 and went to Germany after some time.
