The new CX-60 is born on a new, noble platform, with a longitudinal engine, which creates rear-wheel drive or AWD. And, while they were at it, they also designed a new family of engines from scratch, which includes a refined 3.3-liter six-cylinder in-line turbodiesel with 48-volt mild hybrid technology. In short, the credentials to compete on equal terms with the sacred monsters of the premium market, starting with the BMW X3, Audi Q5 and Mercedes-Benz GLC, seem to be all there. But to what extent can this Mazda keep up with these high-end SUVs? To find out, clearly, we used, as always, our instrumental tests.
