Now more than ten years ago, the Japanese manufacturer Mazda made a very specific choice: to transform itself into a premium brand. A very ambitious goal, which requires a long, arduous and full of unexpected events, because you can't improvise as a luxury brand overnight. To find out how far we've come in this challenge, we organized one of our instrumental tests, taking the model from which it all began, the first-generation CX-5. And then we compared it with the current model, recently revitalized with a nice restyling. As always, we won't let subjectivity speak, but only the numbers and the precious findings of our engineer that will allow us to clearly understand how and to what extent this famous SUV with an oriental flavor has changed.
