Former actor and current care worker Mayuko Iwasa and care talent Miho Nishida appeared at a public talk event titled "From the entertainment industry to the care industry" held in Tokyo on the 14th. Iwasa, who appeared in public for the first time since retiring from the entertainment industry in 2020, spoke about her current life working five days a week as a care worker, which was her first event appearance in four years. Iwasa made her debut in the entertainment industry after being selected as Miss Magazine 2003, and has been active in a wide range of entertainment careers over the past 17 years, including appearances in dramas such as "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e ~Ikemen♂Paradise~", "Gals Circle", and "Mei-chan no Shitsuji", as well as movies, gravure, and variety shows. Iwasa, who appeared at the event hosted by total care company "Tsuchiya", switched to a care industry job after retiring from the entertainment industry. The trigger for this decision was Nishida, who was a fellow Miss Magazine 2003 contestant and is known as a reporter on Mezamashi TV. She had been worried about her future in the entertainment industry, but when she reexamined her life during the COVID-19 pandemic, she was attracted to the caregiving work her close friend Nishida did, and decided to pursue a career in caregiving herself.
