Program about the emergency landing at Aalborg Airport, which could have ended in a disaster. Sunday 9 September 2007 still stands as the day when a plane disaster in North Jutland has never been closer. Through five central sources, TV2 Nord is now retelling the dramatic process – 10 years after the emergency landing, when the right landing gear collapsed on the SAS DASH 8 aircraft. It looked like a completely normal flight from Copenhagen to Aalborg, but when the wheels had to be lowered a few minutes before landing at Aalborg Airport, the alarm bells rang in the cockpit. For over an hour, the SAS plane hung over North Jutland, while the uncertainty of the crew, passengers and relatives down on the ground just grew and grew. It all ended with pictures from a dramatic landing that went around the world. Now we take you all the way into the minds of those who experienced it all up close. From the pilot's perspective and the photographer's perspective to the emergency manager's fear and the passengers' panic.
