Part 2: West Germany immediately after the end of the war in 1945, filmed in private recordings by a US soldier in 16mm film. In this excerpt of the half-hour film you can see, among other things: the Rhine near Bonn and Remagen, Oberwinter harbor, the pontoon bridge from Remagen to Erpel, the pontoon bridge from Niederbreisig to Bad Hönningen, the Wiedtal bridge (motorway), Montabaur Castle, Elzer Berg, scenes of refugees and former forced laborers and an impression of Limburg, a view of Bad Camberg.
