Photo taken on May 19, 2024. At the "Wakuwaku Railway Festa" held on the previous day, May 18, the first business day of C58 363 equipped with a CH-2 type gate iron differential. Apparently there was a TV program being filmed at the Hirosegawahara Depot in the early morning. (Even if they had filmed, they couldn't make it public, and if they did, they would be penalized.) People who came later didn't know the situation, so the filming staff warned them each time. I thought, "Maybe they should have done it on a weekday when there weren't many people and no trains running," but I guess there must have been a reason. After finishing preparations for filming, the staff member next to him was filming with his own camera. It's a perk of the job. (At first I thought he was a participant in the depot tour.) It's not in the video, but I think the running sound of the 5000 series 5001 train is abnormal. Compared to the 7000 series, 7500 series, and 7800 series, the "rattling" sound is terrible. If you ride it, you can clearly tell that the sound and vibration are terrible.
