THE BIG TEST (Pokemon Lets Go) - The Evaluation Farming Master Balls Farming EXP Farming Money Shiny Hunting After 3 streams and 2 very long offscreen attempts, here are my values: 3h stream: 1 shiny Bellsprout 4h stream: 1 shiny Magikarp 7/8h stream: 1 shiny Caterpillar Encounter 6h Charmander Hunting Offscreen: 2 out of 1750 encounters (otherwise no further shiny) 6h Master Ball + Chansey Hunt: Shiny Rhyhorn 3h this morning Snorlax Hunt: Shiny Golbat and after the encounter 550 Snorlax Just by counting, there are around 600 Pokemon per hour that pop up on the map without you having to have an encounter yourself to escape. I tested this number again today with Chansey: I always have 273 encounters after 35-40 minutes - that means ALL other Pokemon on the map that aren't Chansey have to be included! At 34 hours, 8 shinies are too few for almost 20,000 Pokemon. However, I did get a Gem shiny shortly before the Charmander attempt, and before the stream for Bulbasaur I had 7 shinies in 3 hours (the best time of all the hours so far). Even if I include these 8 shinies WITHOUT taking into account the time it took to get them, 16 shinies out of 20,000 Pokemon is a tired joke. So with the maximum chance of 1:273 that is always activated, my tested chance is more like 1:1250. I only counted whenever the 31 combo was active.
