Talks about the eloquent Catherine from the play The Taming of the Shrew, about the mysterious black lady to whom W. Shakespeare turns in his Sonnets, about the elegant princess of France and funny court ladies from the play Love in Vain and many others. The topic of the lecture is the position of women in Renaissance society, how many female characters Shakespeare created and what roles they played in his work. The lecture took place in the columned hall at the Jan Amos Comenius Museum in Uherské Brod on October 12, 2018.
