This documentary film tells the story of Marshal Mannerheim's Hunting Lodge, which was donated by the 14th Division's raven soldiers under the leadership of Major General Erkki Raappana to their respected commander-in-chief on June 4, 1942, on his 75th birthday. The lodge was originally located in East Karelia, south of the village of Repola, on the western shore of Lake Lieksajärvi. In the summer of 1944, the lodge was dismantled and moved in parts to Finnish territory. The buildings were rebuilt in the spring of 1945 in its current location in Loppe, on the shore of Lake Puneliajärvi. The lodge currently operates as a wilderness museum open to the public. The film is approximately one hour long and includes rare footage from the history of the Marshal's Lodge.
