The deceased is Selvakumaran, who worked as a policeman in the law and order department of Sembiyam police station. 30-year-old Selvakumaran lived in the same house with his mother, his brother Perumal, who is an assistant engineer in the electrical department, and his brother's wife Dhanalakshmi, who is a judge in the Chengalpattu Mahila Court. It is learned that he has not yet been able to get married. In this context, it is said that Selvakumaran had been arguing at home, demanding that he get married. Meanwhile, everyone in the house was shocked to see Selvakumaran who had come home in a terrible state of intoxication on the night of the incident. Then, as usual, he demanded that his mother and brother Perumal marry him, and scolded him obscenely and started a fight. At one point, after the argument, Selvakumaran locked his brother Perumal in a separate room and, while fighting with his mother, smashed all the things in the house and caused havoc. Due to this, the family was scared and informed the police, so the KK Nagar police also came to the house. Knowing this, he tried to escape, but intoxicated and unconscious, he broke the window glass of a room on the top floor of the house and jumped down. This tragedy occurred when Selvakumaran broke the glass and jumped down. When Selvakumaran jumped out, he fell on the fence and died on the spot. Following this, the police recovered Selvakumaran's body and sent it to the KK Nagar Government Hospital for an autopsy. The KK Nagar police, who have registered a case in this regard, are conducting an intensive investigation.
