"Fortress Mariupol" is a series of films about the soldiers who in 2022 defended Mariupol for 86 days in a complete environment. The heroine of the new film from the series is Tetyana "Khreshchena" Tepluk, a 70-year-old medic of the "AZOV" regiment. In the past, she was a medic during the war in Afghanistan and an operating nurse at a maternity hospital in the Kyiv region. Tatiana went through the Revolution of Dignity: she helped the wounded on the Maidan, and from where she went to Mariupol and joined AZOV. Khreschen met the full-scale invasion in Mariupol together with her native regiment. Together with her brothers and sisters, she was captured by the Russians, where she stayed for 228 days. On December 31, 2022, Khreschena returned home and continued her service in the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Thousands of Ukrainian defenders remain in Russian captivity, including about 700 fighters of the AZOV brigade. Let's remember our heroes and heroines!
