The ascent to LaMaliciosa on its south face is a demanding route due to the steepness of the terrain and the positive difference in altitude of +850 metres that must be overcome. To do this, I will follow the Mariano route, which ascends the south face, climbing the Almorchones mountain range to Peñotillo and then descends the Piornal pass, to return through the Barranca valley and thus make the circular route, completing a distance of 9 km.
