About :

The Tercas Foundation, on the occasion of the Jubilee 2025, is re-proposing, on its website, an extraordinary testimony of the popular religiosity and cultural heritage of the Teramo area through six video documentaries made in 2012 by art historian Daniela Di Ferdinando. This project was created as part of the Leader+GAL Appennino Teramano Project 2007/2013 - PSR (Rural Development Program) - PSL (Local Development Plan) - in a partnership that involved various local bodies and institutions with the Tercas Foundation: the CAPSA (Consorzio Aprutino Patrimonio Storico Artistico), the three Mountain Communities, the Pro Loco; the Province, the Municipalities, the Diocese of Teramo-Atri. The project was conceived to enhance the identity roots and promote the territory and tells the beauty and spirituality of the Aprutini landscapes, from the peaks of the Gran Sasso to the Marian Sanctuaries, up to the Baroque Altars and the Franciscan Convents. Not only, therefore, a repertoire document, but a source of suggestions that intertwines memory, faith and knowledge, revealing the deep soul of the places that will fascinate the faithful and the numerous tourists who expect to visit our province.
