The duo was formed when the two members met at college, in Campo Grande, capital of Mato Grosso do Sul. In addition to having achieved national success in the midst of a new movement of sertanejo music, they had the distinction of being a duo formed by a man and a woman, something that is still somewhat rare today. From friends and music partners, Maria and Rodolfo ended up getting involved, got married and today have two children. Pleasant characters and great conversationalists, the two artists provided a conversation full of good stories.
