The head of the Prime Minister's office, Gergely Gulyas, argued in a conversation with journalists that this decision results from the conviction of the Hungarian authorities that there is a crisis of the rule of law in Poland. Romanowski is wanted under the European Arrest Warrant, and the prosecutor's office accuses him of committing a number of crimes, including participation in an organized criminal group.
