About :

Ahmad Azad was born on 17 Farvardin 1340 in the village of Khemak in Sistan and Baluchestan. He grew up in Isfahan. In Isfahan, he began learning Iranian musical instruments and radifs with Taj Isfahani and solfege with Houshang Beheshti. After leaving Iran and while studying electrical engineering, he began learning the basics of music with Loghman Adhami and Mehdi Takestani. Ahmad Azad died on 31 Shahrivar 1400 due to cardiac arrest in Los Angeles, USA. His body was transferred to Iran 40 days after his death and was buried on 10 Aban 1400 in Isfahan's Rezvan Garden, Plot 34, in the presence of some artists and his family.
