Developing the topic of boiling wort in EasyBrew with the lid closed. I honestly admit that I am too lazy to attach and connect the distillation column to the water every time, while the weather allows, you can safely brew beer with the windows and door open, but winter is coming, soon you will have to lock yourself in again and the problem of steam removal will become acute again. I have already been told that there are much simpler solutions, but I somehow got distracted from this story, and then here it is: a corrugated aluminum pipe, and even with a choice of diameters from 5 to 11 cm. I quickly tied it to the clamp, tightened it and boiled a test 10 liters of water. Everything works: steam pours out of the pipe like from a samovar, phlegm does not flow back into the brewery, just a sight to behold. With such a samovar, you won't be afraid to meet winter :) I was so glad that I allowed a number of inaccuracies: the pipe is not steel, but aluminum; I have a 1.5 inch clamp and the pipe only stretches for one and a half meters, but there is good news: two pipes can be twisted together and get a length of 3 meters :) Corrugated pipe for steam removal http://alii.pub/5xcvhm Lid for a brewery http://ali.pub/5do3dy A tricky pipe for adding hops and other components of a distillation column http://ali.pub/5do3qe Spring latches for the lid http://ali.pub/5do3vu My channel in Telegram https://t.me/ezhoffbeer Home brewing courses http://ezhoffbeer.ru/ 0:00 About the idea of removing steam and boiling wort with the lid closed 5:28 Let's start an experiment, turning a brewery into a steam locomotive and a samovar
