This is how you make an instant horse chestnut cream for varicose veins. Prepare a cream immediately after harvesting - without waiting weeks. Ingredients: around 5 chestnuts 50 ml oil 25 g lanolin anhydride (wool wax without water) 4 g beeswax 50 ml Doppelkorn 10-20 drops essential juniper oil I call this cream an instant cream because you can start using it immediately after collecting the chestnuts. The most important active ingredient in chestnuts, aescin, is soluble in water and alcohol. This is why chestnuts are normally made into a tincture that must steep for two to six weeks. Only then can a cream be prepared with the tincture. I am preparing such a tincture and a cream made from it. As soon as the tincture is finished steeping, there will be videos. The chestnuts can be collected under chestnut trees in autumn. This cream recipe is intended for freshly collected chestnuts. Horse chestnuts strengthen the veins, so that varicose veins are alleviated. You can use a normal vegetable oil as the oil, such as rapeseed oil. The beeswax serves to thicken the cream so that it does not remain liquid. The lanolin binds all the ingredients together. It serves as an emulsifier and is an essential ingredient for this cream. The double grain replaces the usual water. The double grain is used to extract the active ingredients from the chestnuts. The essential juniper oil also strengthens the blood vessels. It also has a refreshing and invigorating effect. If you don't have juniper oil, you could use mint oil or rosemary oil instead. You can rub the cream against varicose veins in carefully. Carefully so that no thromboses are released from the varicose veins. The chestnut cream can also help with swollen legs and feet. The cream will last for several months. To prepare it, I use an Erlenmeyer flask with a capacity of 500 ml. In this Erlenmeyer flask, the mixture of ingredients can be heated at the bottom. The alcohol from the double grain spirit tends to evaporate when heated. Because the Erlenmeyer flask is quite large, it stays significantly cooler at the top than at the bottom. The evaporated alcohol can condense there and flows back into the mixture on the inside of the flask. Have fun trying it out and good luck!
