Then you should start making your own washing powder. This is particularly environmentally friendly and very quick to make. I'll show you exactly how to do it and how you can make your own DIY washing powder from just 3 ingredients in this video. This is what you need for your homemade washing powder: 180 g washing soda 130 g curd soap 100 g baking soda Take these three ingredients and start making the washing powder. The first step is to grate the curd soap once. Of course, you can also buy already grated curd soap, but this is much more expensive. Now just take all three ingredients and mix them well. It's best to fill them directly into a jar and shake everything well. And that's it. That's how easy it is to make your homemade washing powder. The curd soap ensures very good washing performance, especially with oils and fats. The washing soda has a generally strong washing performance and is therefore also important for the DIY washing powder. Baking soda binds odors and ensures that the laundry no longer smells. Baking soda is also a good water softener! If you now want to wash with the detergent, you will need about 1-3 tablespoons of the powder, depending on how dirty your laundry is. To do this, put it directly in the drum or in the top compartment for washing powder. IMPORTANT: You should not wash wool or silk with this washing powder, however, as the washing soda it contains is not suitable for this.
