But we are in illustrious company, because there are many models and actresses who struggle with the same "flaw". It is not that easy to fix this problem, but there are a few tricks that can almost magically make drooping eyelids disappear. A topic often discussed with eye make-up is that you should not put dark eyeliner around your eyes. That would look like a panda bear or something similar. I find that strong, dark eye make-up creates a wonderful contrast to a wrinkled face, especially on older women. In the video I show my make-up technique, and it is completely different to the conventional one recommended by make-up artists. I use a trick to apply make-up to wrinkled eyelids. A touch of squalane oil is applied to the eyelid from the crease upwards to the eyebrows. This provides the base for the eyeshadow. Medium brown powder applied to the eyelid gently conceals the curvature of the drooping eyelid. And the oil makes it possible to spread it perfectly despite the wrinkles. I shade the powder so that it blends nicely upwards. The wafer-thin film of oil makes it easy to spread the powder gently. The oil is the trick to applying make-up to drooping eyelids. And a dark color conceals the curved eyelids.
