[Story] • [Trailer] "Gamera 3: The Awakening of Iris" <4K> Four years ago in 1995, Ayana lost her parents in the battle between Gamera and Gyaos. She now lives with her younger brother at her relatives' house in Minamiasuka village, Nara prefecture. Her hatred for Gamera grows, and she unseals the shrine where the legendary divine beast "Ryuseicho" sleeps. One day, Gamera and Gyaos appear in Shibuya. After a fierce battle, Shibuya is destroyed. Watching on TV, Ayana's hatred for Gamera grows stronger. A strange creature awakens in the shrine where Ayana unsealed it. Ayana names it Iris and raises it. However, Ayana is sucked into Iris' cocoon. Thanks to her classmate Ryusei, she is taken to the hospital and survives, but the grown-up Iris attacks the villagers and grows gigantic. Meanwhile, ornithologist Mayumi hears about an incident that occurred in Asuka Village and flies to Nara with former police inspector Osako and Asagi, who once shared a heart with Gamera. As she continues her investigation, Mayumi discovers that a mutant Gyaos creature has appeared. Then, when she finds out that Ayana was involved in the birth, she rushes to the hospital where Ayana is hospitalized. However, Ayana disappears from the hospital. Cabinet Intelligence Investigator Asakura has moved her to Kyoto. Mayumi and Asagi head to Kyoto. Then, game creator Kurata appears before them and tells them that Iris intends to fuse with Ayana. And finally, Iris appears in Kyoto. Iris destroys Kyoto in search of Ayana. But then Gamera appears. He and Iris engage in a deadly battle.
