Day 2: Jägerhaus - Neumühle I start at the Jägerhaus and leave the foggy Danube valley. Following the HW2, it goes uphill past Bronnen Castle. After the first rays of sunshine, it goes straight back into the valley and I reach the Lourdes Grotto Liebfrauental. A short right-left combination and I am standing in front of the Beuron Monastery. On the next climb (I am already leaving the Danube valley again) I meet a friendly dog owner. Next destination: Wildenstein Castle. A short walk and it goes downhill again towards the Danube, which I cross and then leave the valley again. At Eichfelsen there is a drastic change in the weather and I decide to shorten the tour a little. I therefore only pass Werenwag Castle below and have to walk through a tick habitat. Hausen im Tal is reached and it crosses the Danube again. Under adverse conditions, I now follow its course to my destination: Neumühle!
