This is the final chapter of the three-part theatrical film series, re-editing episodes from the latter half of episode 31 to the final episode of the TV version, which was created using the theme song for the movie Mobile Suit Gundam III. It is similar to a new theatrical film, with a different structure and direction from the TV version. The setting is space, leading up to the final battle between the Earth Federation and Zeon forces. Amuro is presented as a Newtype, a space-age human who innovates. Original story by Yatate Hajime and Tomino Yoshiyuki, general director Tomino Yoshiyuki, character design by Yasuhiko Yoshikazu, mechanical design by Okawara Kunio, art director Nakamura Mitsuki/ music by Watanabe Takeo and Matsuyama Yuji, animation director Yasuhiko Yoshikazu
