Roy and Roger's Mack is introduced for the first time. A cautious beige man and an angry Opel owner appear for the first time. However, the Opel owner calms down when a man with a terry cloth blanket comforts him. Some men from the Swedish Road Administration want to demolish the pub. Songs in part 1: Macken (performed by Björn Skifs) The terry blanket - the embarrassed customer: Knut Agnred Privat - the freestyle singers: Knut Agnred and Per Fritzell My car repairman - the chorus singer: Kerstin Granlund "Call me later!" exclaims the car repairman Roy and the Mad Men and After Shave makes its definitive breakthrough. The TV series Macken premiered in August 1986 and quickly became immensely popular. The last program is watched by almost half of Sweden's population. The car repair shop that brothers Roy and Roger run is exactly the kind that used to be on every road. Among others, a beige customer, a family with a caravan and a confirmand who wants a synth come to the grocery store. Something that is not visible, however, is a white Opel that has been handed in for repairs... Dark clouds of worry hover over the idyll in the form of the municipality's plans to build a new highway right where the grocery store is located. Each episode contains several musical numbers and many songs become hits. Caravan, Confirmation gift, It's the water pump, Gerd and the leitmotif Macken end up on the Svensktoppen.
