Supreme Court Justice Dias Toffoli ordered the dismissal of an administrative misconduct lawsuit involving Geraldo Alckmin, Lula's vice president. The lawsuit was being processed in the 13th Public Finance Court of São Paulo and investigated allegations of illegal payments from Odebrecht to Alckmin's campaign in 2014, when he was running for reelection to the governor of São Paulo. Toffoli argued that the evidence used in the lawsuit was the same as in another lawsuit dismissed by the Supreme Court in April, based on the annulment of evidence extracted from Odebrecht's Drousys and MyWebDay systems. They were used by the construction company to account for illicit payments to authorities.
