On November 11, Lāčplēš day, at At 18.00, a solemn evening mass will be held at the Riga Brothers' Cemetery to honor the memory of the soldiers who died in the Latvian War of Independence. In the presence of Ministry of Defense and NBS officials, an evening junda will be held in honor of 3,488 soldiers who fell in the battles of the War of Independence. The live broadcast will be conducted by LTV journalist Jānis Geste, who will talk to both military historian and researcher Valdis Kuzminas and LTV News service journalists who have gone to the regions of Latvia - Liepāja, Jelgava, Daugavpils and Valmiera - to report on the Lāčplēš Day events.
