JUDY AND MARY / LOVER SOUL I played the live version that was held at Tokyo Dome in 1998 before the band went on hiatus. The thumbnail makes it seem like the first take, but it's not the first take. Still, the song is long and the solo at the end is difficult, so it's hard to say if it was a good take. The live version has a completely different impression from the CD version, so I started over from scratch with the sound and playing. I used a Dellaliba-style vacuum tube amp with a slightly crunch sound as the base, and an Eastern Music Device PD-1 as a preamp, and a WARM AUDIO Warm drive to create the drive sound. From the beginning, I used Focus-NX (compressor), ParaEQ2 (equalizer), TS (ON from the chorus), Morning Glory (only the solo at the end), Warmdrive (main distortion), CRAFTROS Trident (only the solo in the middle), EMD PD-1 (preamp-like), MS50G+ (only using noise gate), BOSS CE-2w (ce2 mode), Grand Canyon delay (only solo), and Big sky tuner (reverb). It will be interesting to compare it with the sound created in the previous LOVERSOUL using only the MS50G+. I'm still not very good at playing, but I'm doing my best to create sounds and DIY my guitar room. I'd be happy to receive comments. #judyandmary #rubbersoulguitar #judyandmaryguitar #takuyaguitar #firsttakestyle #judyandmarygeneration
