Aşk ve Ceza ( Love and Punishment ) is a Turkish television drama series that aired in 2010 and 2011. Starring Nurgül Yeşilçay, Murat Yildirim and Feride Çetin. A 29-year-old woman named Yasemin (Nurgül Yeşilçay) works at an advertising agency. She has been with her fiancé Mehmet (Caner Kurtaran) for over three years. Just a week before their wedding, her life turns upside down when she feels deeply betrayed and unappreciated. She leaves everything and leaves for Bodrum. In Van, Çiçek (Feride Çetin) marries Kemal Baldar (Ali Yiğit), the eldest son of the powerful Baldar family. Savaş, Kemal Baldar’s modern, American-educated brother, goes on vacation to Bodrum after his brother’s wedding. Those two have their first meeting at a bar in Bodrum. Yasemin, betrayed and devastated by the turn of events with her fiancé, finds herself in Savaş’s arms after a night of heavy drinking. Burdened with guilt and regret after their one-night stand, she leaves without even knowing Savaş’s name. Savaş also fails to learn who the girl is who stole his heart that night. After receiving a phone call informing him that his newlywed brother and father died in a car accident, Savaş returns to Istanbul as the head of the family. Meanwhile, Yasemin discovers that she is pregnant with Savaş's baby and later gives birth to a boy named Ömer. As Savaş continues to deal with his family's unconventional problems, he continues to search for Yasemin, the Cinderella.
