When I first came to the Black Sea, the first thing that came to my mind like everyone else was anchovies. Because when the Black Sea is mentioned, anchovies come to mind, Trabzon and sports come to mind for everyone, but I was in the kitchen of the business, yes, I had shot on small boats, but I was curious about the operation on big boats, in short, the documentary's adventure started with curiosity. When I contacted Esteemed Muhammet Günay during the production phase, he gave a very positive response and said that they would gladly contribute to the documentary. While I thought I had reached the easiest part of the job, I honestly didn't know that I had reached the hardest part. Shooting in rough weather was very difficult for someone like me who doesn't know the sea, I spent nine hours of my ten-hour shooting plan only fainting and feeling nauseous. I remember running off the ship I boarded in the morning, thinking that nothing would happen to me. That's why I named the documentary Lords of the Sea. This event, which seemed difficult to me, was now very ordinary and normal for them, and there were many small accidents during the shooting because the sea is constantly changing and these people were always preparing themselves according to that change. It didn't turn out exactly as I wanted, you'll ask why? Because every time I got on the boat for a shoot, I couldn't lift my head up because of nausea and I couldn't recover for two days after the shoot. I tried to reflect the lives of these brave men who earn their bread from the bosom of this crazy black sea as much as I could. Enjoy the movie...
