On a foot of land, on a mouth of heaven. This is how we can describe the spectacular location chosen by a young family who decided to set up a farm differently. A farm that emphasizes old Romanian breeds, on animals raised in freedom on an alpine pasture in Harghita County. The farmer's pride is his flock of Țigaie Ruginie sheep. A sheep of high-value Romanian genetics, but which has been preserved too little in the farms and households in the country. For Lorand Țăpuc, the farmer we see today surrounded by animals, destiny initially took him far from home. Right to the North Pole and through America, in places that taught him to value the values of home, in Romania. The money earned for Ocean helped the young entrepreneur lay the foundations of the farm of his dreams, to implement the business plans that he had built in his mind during all the years he was away. Currently, Lorand Țăpuc lives in Miercurea Ciuc and commutes to the farm. He hopes that in a few years he will build a house on the mountain where he can live with his family in a corner of heaven where time seems to have stood still, where nature follows its course and where old traditions are never forgotten. -------- The material was broadcast on August 29, 2022 as part of the show Fermerierii României, on TVR 1, a co-production of TVR and Agrointelligence.
