The Écrins National Park is a high-mountain place with a strong history, a strong relationship between man and the mountain. An environment filled with wilderness that shapes lives very different from those lived in the valleys and countryside. Through the experience and the eyes of a high-mountain guide, a refuge warden and a park project manager, we discover an environment as harsh as it is intoxicating. In the middle of winter, these women and men tell us about their relationship with these summits, with the wilderness that surrounds them, with the humans they meet. This film was made during the 2nd year of my master's degree in Wildlife Filmmaking, at IFFCAM.
