He began to be known since becoming one of the participants in the Stand Up Comedy Indonesia Kompas TV event in 2012. Boris has joined the Stand Up Indo Bandung community since 2011. He often appears in several cafes and campuses in the Bandung area. Boris participated in the Street Comedy competition held in the city of Depok and managed to become the second winner in the event. In 2012, Boris participated in the Stand Up Comedy Indonesia Kompas TV audition and managed to qualify as one of 13 finalists. Boris was recorded as the first Batak contestant to take part in this competition.
