Every day, there is news of sexual harassment and violence that occurs in a place that produces students and intellectuals of the nation. Oh my gosh… What is this, Bestie? There have been frequent news of sexual harassment and violence committed by students against each other, be it juniors, seniors, or classmates. One of them is a case of sexual harassment that occurred in the English Study Program at a state campus in Malang, which was committed by a senior to a junior. It’s not just students who are the perpetrators, many lecturers are also perpetrators of violence and sexual harassment on campus. The case that just went viral came from a state campus in Makassar. There was a female student who was harassed by her lecturer while she was supervising her thesis. Oh my gosh!!! Feeling harassed, this female student finally reported it to the PPKS task force on campus. Forget about getting justice, the PPKS task force actually sided with and pitied the lecturer. In the end, there was a student protest all the way to the rectorate, Bestie. Until last week, students were still protesting against sexual violence on campus. Oh my, how could it be, Bestie, that the educational environment becomes a place where sexual harassment and violence occur? The perpetrators are even educated people, Bestieee? What's wrong?
