Hello, my friends! In Recife, at the Santa Isabel theater, we performed for the wonderful people of Pernambuco who, with enthusiasm and open hearts, welcomed us with their usual human warmth. The show was performed by my group: Xeina Barros, tambourine; Guilherme Girardi, 6-string guitar; and Carlos Moura, 7-string guitar. My guest at the show was Mestre Sombrinha, a samba singer and composer, founder of the group Fundo de Quintal, but who is also a great lover of Choro. In fact, all of this was in homage to this very Brazilian genre and its composers. Watch and listen to this part of the show where I held a cavaquinho (an instrument I started playing as a child, alongside the mandolin) in homage to the great Waldir Azevedo with his three most famous songs, in order: Pedacinhos do Céu, Delicado, and Brasileirinho. Leave your like and share this video with lovers of music made from the heart! A big hug!
