Hello everyone, you are on the channel Mary's succulents / @maryssucculents . Today I have prepared a video for you about sowing lithops seeds. The video is extensive, because I made a review from the moment of sowing to shoots at the age of 1 month. I will start with the fact that I ordered seeds on the CactusGarden website https://cactusgarden.ru/shop/seeds-li... . I also want to say that this link and my mention of the store are not advertising, but in my video I used photos from the CactusGarden website and some other information. I really like this store, because they have an acceptable pricing policy, a convenient website for ordering not only succulent seeds but also the plants themselves. When I looked at the pictures of lithops, I wanted to order everything, the beauty of the variety does not allow you to remain indifferent, but your wallet is not elastic and you have to moderate your needs. The rest of the video is divided into periods of seed germination. I sowed the plants on February 13, 2024, then short reviews on February 17 - the first shoots, March 1 and March 9 - the end of the review and summing up. I will say right away that I ordered 33 items, plus I received 1 item as a gift and also out of curiosity and personal experiment, I purchased 2 packs of LIVING STONES seeds from the GAVRISH company on ozone. Each pack contains 5 seeds, and they never deceived me with the quantity, EXACTLY 5. Cactus Garden is more pleasant and sincere in this regard, I ordered 20 seeds of each item from them, but in fact there were 10-15 more seeds in each packet. So, the most important thing, looking ahead, I want to say. Out of 36 items, 35 items sprouted, so I recognize my sowing of lithops as POSITIVE. We begin sowing with soil preparation. No peat! This is a must, because then the roots simply cannot be untangled and the plants die there. In my mixture, I used zeolite, diatomite, as well as river sand and leaf soil, which I baked in the oven and sifted through a fine sieve. The hassle is enormous, but it's worth it. It's worth spending time preparing the soil so that later you don't have to worry about the plants, your dear lithops.
