In this release cycle, Linux Mint decided to limit the availability of flatpaks by default on the system to only verified versions of the apps, in addition to having created a new fork of a GNOME app for online accounts and having held back updates to some packages in favor of use with the system's themes and colors, which ended up further encouraging the development of X-Apps, cross-interface software, which should be used in Linux Mint XFCE and MATE as well. ????
