When line 15 ran for the last time on November 30, 2007 from Stammheim to the Ruhbank terminus not far from the television tower, the almost 120-year-long tram chapter of the state capital of Baden-Württemberg came to an end. Line 15 is the last of the once more than twenty meter-gauge tram routes in Stuttgart, whose image was shaped for almost half a century by the characteristic GT4 vehicles. Since the mid-1980s, the changeover to standard-gauge light rail vehicles has taken place, which will also run as the U15 in the future. Tram line 15 will return once a month, as a museum tram. A film by Harald Kirchner. (Episode 652 from October 14, 2007) Want even more railways? Then take a look!
