What is the limit of a sequence and what is the epsilon criterion? In this video, physicist Dietmar Haase explains what is meant by the limit of a sequence and shows, using a few selected example tasks, how to determine the limit of a sequence using the epsilon criterion. The epsilon criterion can be used to determine the limit for both real sequences and complex sequences. If the limit of a sequence exists, then the sequence is said to be convergent. If the limit of a sequence does not exist, then the sequence is said to be divergent.
