About :

Lecture by Res. Me. Djalma Martinhão Gomes de Sousa during the 1st Online Workshop on Tropical Soil Fertility [08/12/2020]. Graduated in Chemistry from UnB (1974), with a master's degree in Soil Science from UFRGS (1980), Djalma Martinhão has been a researcher at Embrapa Cerrados for over 40 years, working on topics related to Cerrado Soil Fertility, Fertilization, Pastures and No-Till Planting. Among his numerous works is the book “Cerrado: Soil Correction and Fertilization”, widely used in Mato Grosso to recommend liming, gypsum and fertilization of various crops. This publication is a posthumous tribute to Djalma Martinhão Gomes de Sousa, who passed away today, September 5, 2020.
