As imposing as it is regal, majestic, protagonist in reality as in fiction, the golden eagle, present in some Ligurian parks, is at the same time reporter and narrator of the video produced by the Parks System (Antola, Ligurian Alps, Aveto, Beigua, Bric Tana, Montemarcello-Magra, Piana Crixia, Portofino and Porto Venere), with the Montemarcello-Magra Park as leader and the supervision of the Liguria Region Parks Service. The video, the result of two years of intense work, is signed by Lodovico Prola, expert documentary maker. The flight of the eagle, also illustrated by spectacular and exhaustive 3D graphics that well illustrate the complexity (not only morphological) of the Ligurian territory, starts from the extreme western sector and, flying over the main watershed, and therefore the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri, reaches the border with Tuscany. Passing the baton, park by park, to other emblematic birds of prey, the narrator simply shows how astonishing the biodiversity is in a region that, together with Piedmont and Abruzzo alone, can boast the simultaneous presence of three biogeographical regions (Alpine, Continental and Mediterranean).
