Since the 1980s, light pollution has increased unnecessarily. The fact that it shines more does not mean that it will have an effect on higher safety. Blue light is bad at night, good during the day. Humanity does not yet know that shining with white light is not natural. Most homes are designed for relaxation, not for us to work or study for eight hours at home, says Hynek Medřický, a member of the Czech Society for Lighting and Lighting Technology.
