In February 2019, the then 23-year-old suddenly noticed a strange tremor all over her body while she was sitting in a café with a friend. The friend eventually accompanied her home and left after putting Marie to bed. From then on, her memory stopped for a long time. Instinctively, her mother came over and immediately called an ambulance. She was taken to the intensive care unit. The diagnosis: Marie was diagnosed with the most aggressive form of leukemia and severe blood poisoning, which led to multiple organ failure. While Marie lies in a coma, the doctors fight intensely for her life. Her family stands bravely by her side. When Marie wakes up after weeks, she is told that during her coma, a varying number of limbs of all ten fingers and all ten toes had to be amputated because of the blood poisoning. On top of that, she has cancer and is about to undergo chemotherapy. “Why me?” She asks herself this question over and over again and can't find an answer.
