Três Lagoas, Mato Grosso do Sul - Brazil The city of Três Lagoas is an important municipality in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, with great tourist and industrial potential, standing out in its region. Its population is over 140 thousand inhabitants and it is a reference in agricultural development. Tourism in Três Lagoas has many attractions, both natural and architectural, such as Jupiá, on the banks of the Paraná River, an ideal place for fishing; the white sand beaches of the Sucuriú River: there are the Municipal Spa and many private ranches; Jatobá: possibly the first tree to be listed as public heritage in Mato Grosso do Sul; Cascalheira: a place used for the extraction of gravel during the construction of the Jupiá Power Plant, another great tourist attraction in Três Lagoas and which today houses the Parque das Capivaras and artificial lakes.
