Legend has it that, over the years, many witnesses have claimed to have had paranormal experiences while traveling this stretch at night. Furthermore, in America it is also famous because it is said to be the place where witches, Satanists and members of the Ku Klux Klan gather. But it doesn't end there. In fact, the road, being immersed in the green of the woods, is said to have been half of professional killers. They buried the bodies of their victims. The road is 16 km long and those who have traveled it have said to have seen very disturbing things, especially at night. Many, in fact, have claimed to have had the impression of being chased by something hidden in the vegetation. Others, however, have declared to have seen a huge mastiff with yellow eyes and monkeys. For these last animals there could be an explanation: Clinton Rd is located a short distance from a structure used, in the 70s, as a zoo. Some rumors say that two ghosts roam there. The first is a girl who apparently had an accident while driving a dark blue Camaro. Today, her spirit must travel that road continuously. She can be recognized by the missing taillight of the car. The other story is about a boy who one day went to play near a water tower right off Clinton Rd. While he was playing on the side of the road with a ball, it slipped out of his hand and went over a low wall, behind which ran the river. Trying to get the ball, he ended up falling, breaking his spine and drowning. There are several versions of the behavior of this spirit: he could push you off the wall to make you suffer the same fate; he would save your life if you leaned too far; finally, if you threw a coin into the river (with your back turned) the boy would throw it back to you along with other objects.
