Building a model of the Leopard 2A6 (Leopard) tank of the ZSU from ICM, catalog number 72820, in a scale of 1/72. Assembling the hull, tower and undercarriage, painting. Analysis of the model. Pros and cons of the model. Since the summer of 2023, tanks of the Leopard 2A6 modification have been in service with units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They take an active part in the battles in the east and north-east of Ukraine. Some of them undergo a certain modification due to the specifics of modern hostilities. Combat clashes in recent years have raised new requirements – in particular, improved protection against cluster munitions and strike drones. For this, protective elements made in the form of a grid are additionally hung on the military equipment. Solid screens of various types are also used to protect the undercarriage. The Leopard 2A6 tanks of the Ukrainian army are also undergoing this type of modification, several such combat vehicles were seen in combat operations in the fall of 2023.
