In 2025, the town of Bad St. Leonhard im Lavanttal will celebrate two important anniversaries. 700 years ago, this central town in the upper Lavanttal was elevated to town status. 900 years ago, a church was built from which the Leonhardi Church developed - today the spiritual center of the upper Lavanttal and a cultural and historical building of supra-regional importance. On the occasion of the anniversary celebrations, which began on November 6th with the Leonhardi Festival, the citizens of the town, as well as guests from near and far, can expect an extensive and entertaining supporting program organized by local clubs and institutions.
