We passed by lagoons and contemplated the immensity of dunes, which was very exciting and ended with a beautiful sunset! We received a tip from our guide Felipe to visit the Bambaê restaurant, where we had dinner that night, which was a great experience, an incredible place to visit in Barreirinhas next to the Preguiças River! The tour to Santo Amaro was a fantastic surprise, the lagoons were so crystal clear and full of little fish, we had lunch in the village of Betânia, which enchanted us with its simplicity and cozy place, a very regional food made us feel good in Maranhão! This tour of Santo Amaro also includes contemplation of the sunset! The trip to Atins, besides the beautiful lagoons, has the Villa de Atins which is charming, a restaurant with a wonderful view of the beach, everything very rustic, very tasty, and a beach called Praia de Canto de Atins which surprised us with its natural pools! There were many great experiences in Maranhão, such as eating cashew nuts from the tree, climbing up and down dunes, rocking in the dunes, walking along the riverside, being lazy, lying on the fine sand, we had a lot of fun as a family!
