Camera M. Mališek. Directed by J. Vondráček The documentary series dedicated to the legends of Czechoslovak folk and country music will, in its twelfth installment, focus on curious songs and performances by famous folk and country singers. Jaroslav Hutka will sing his songs in Danish, Jaroslav Velinský, known as Captain Kid, will sing the songs of Bulat Okudžava, we will remember the songs of Voskovec and Werich performed by the duo Paleček and Janík or the forgotten songs of Iva Bittová and Jablkóna. But we also deviate a little from singers who are primarily associated with folk and country, the authors also focused on pop star Karel Gott, jazz singer Eva Olmerová or musical diva Leona Machálková - and their contribution to folk and country style. There will also be small local groups and authors whose work is nevertheless remarkable, such as the group Děsně fajn or Blaf. In the program, you will see unique archive recordings commented by the singers and authors themselves, but also by a number of experts and musicologists.
