Vondráček The documentary series dedicated to the legends of Czechoslovak folk and country music in its final thirteenth episode will focus on the development and changes in Czechoslovak folk and country music after 1989. The authors of the program focus on the changes faced by a number of groups and solo artists, from the most prominent Karel Kryl, Michal Tučný or the Spirituál quintet and Pilgrims groups, but also authors. Post-revolutionary social and political development and freedom opened up new themes and opportunities for foreign tours for many artists. However, for some, the post-revolutionary development was rather a period of disillusionment, and many authors could not cope with the new demands of listeners and the music market. The authors of the documentary map the reactions of a number of musical personalities to the development of the folk and country scene in the early 1990s, unique archive records are accompanied by personal statements of the singers, their friends and experts in the music field.
